The enhanced picture quality is driven by Toshiba’s CEVO™ picture and uses a new LED backlight system with local dimming for a much sharper and more detailed picture that's up to 75% brighter*1 than previous models. Using the chipset restoration technology, CEVO™ Picture is able to take compressed broadcast images and return them back to their intended state by restoring colour and brightness that is usually lost during the recording process.
